On Set Photography

A few weeks ago I wrapped on my latest short film, PADLOCK.

The shoot was a great success and the film is now in post production. One thing I have learnt from my years of filmmaking is the importance of getting great production stills. They're absolutely priceless when you start entering festivals.

I don't want to write too much about the importance of stills. I'd like the images to do the talking for me. I've added some below to show you the range of stills.

All of these still are taken by the fabulous portrait photographer David J Prior.

There were 100s of images taken and around 80 that are superb that we can use for promotion of the short. This gives a nice range of production stills and BTS images that will be priceless when the film is ready to be unleashed on the world.
